Kenn is our tutor for Project Management.  He is an APMG Registered Trainer and Consultant for PRINCE2®, MSP® P3M3® and OBASHI®, and PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).  As a founder and Director of FPMS, he consults and provides project management training to the ICT industry within Australia and Asia.  Kenn has gained has gained a wealth of experience in the Construction, Oil and Gas, and Research and Development industries throughout the UK, Europe and Africa.With this diversity of experience and background Kenn joined the Construction Management Research Unit at Dundee University Scotland as a consultant and advisor to the construction industry on project management and productivity.  During this period he obtained an MSc degree in Project Management.  Since 1999, he has been consulting to and providing project management training to the ICT industry within Australia and Asia, in his role as a Director of FPMS. Kenn holds the distinction of being the first fully accredited MSP Trainer and Consultant outside of the UK. He has coached and mentored senior executives in over 20 countries through the process of creating their organization’s PMO capability and establishing an effective environment to deliver the planned strategic benefits. Mike is the tutor for Enterprise Architecture, a Mentor in the CPE Program and a Member of the Faculty Board. He has been in ICT for over 35 years and management of ICT for about 25. Joining the Air Force from high school in 1970, he has been part of technology from the valve radio days to where we are now. During his career Mike has worked as a user of technology as well as a supplier with Wang, Burroughs and a number of software suppliers providing a full gambit of services from engineering to customized software.Over the past decade Mike has worked for top tier law firms before joining the Queensland Primary Industries & Fisheries three years ago as the Manager, Business Solutions & Governance. Mike’s team was a diverse group of technically excellent staff including Spatial, Applications, Business Analysts, Governance & Architects and Account Managers. The March 2009 Queensland election resulted in DPI&F combining with Queensland Mines & Energy and Employment, Industry Development and Innovation to create the ‘super’ department of Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, where he has taken up the role of Director, Governance, Architecture & Service Management.

Steve is a mentor in the Professional Practice subject of the CPe Program and a member of the Faculty Board. He has been in the IT industry for over 16 years, after starting his career in education. After completing a Graduate Diploma in Computing, he moved into the private sector, and most of his experience has been with global manufacturing, engineering and professional services firms. Steve's management experience has included responsibility for service delivery, infrastructure, financial management, business systems and governance.Steve's current IT Associate Director role with a global professional technical and management support services firm includes regional and global responsibilities. He heads a team of over 40 highly skilled staff across Australia and New Zealand,  and leads two global groups - the global IT Leadereship Council and the IT Hardware standards team.  Based in Melbourne, Steve has had a recent secondment to the United Arab Emirates to assist in IT strategic planning, compliance activities and programme implementations for the region.

Margaret is our tutor in Business, Strategy and IT and is on the CPE Faculty Board. Margaret’s career in ICT began in 1968 as a graduate programmer. She has held many roles since then, including project manager, business analyst and CIO. For the past 20 years, Margaret’s work has been closely aligned with business strategy and IT in both the public and private sectors. Margaret worked as a senior consultant for a large Australian ICT company and held the role of Manager, Business Improvement for a division of a large government department. Margaret has recently retired from the public sector and now runs her own consulting business.

Jo is the tutor in the Information Security subject and is on the Faculty Board. She has 22 years' experience in the IT field some of which were spent as CIO in the Utilities space, and 14 in the Information Security arena. Jo underpins her information technology and security background with her qualifications in education and management. She specialises in consulting in information security issues and undertakes a range of IT audits. Her work has a particular emphasis on governance in both the commercial and operational areas of businesses. Jo provides strategic advice to organisations across a number of industry sectors including banking and finance, utilities, automotive manufacturing, tertiary education, retail and government. Jo is the Chair of both ISACA’s International Leadership Development Committee and its Security Culture Taskforce. She sits on the Association’s International Knowledge Board; its Framework Committee and is past president of ISACA’s Adelaide Chapter. She was also a part of CIGRE’s international working group B5.38 and worked with an international group of experts to assess information security risks in power system operations within SCADA systems and the implementation of appropriate security controls. Kim has been mentoring students since the 1980s and is currently a mentor in Professional Practice, a subject from our CPe Program. Kim has worked in ICT for over 40 years with experience in commercial computing, working up from writing code, systems analysis, project management, data administration and more. Kim gained most of his experience working for private industry companies (such as Wesfarmers and Woodside) and state government agencies. Kim has embarked on further studies in order to upgrade his skills. In the 1980s he attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems and, more recently, a Masters degree in Electronic Commerce.

Le-anne is a mentor in the Professional Practice subject of the CPE Program and a member of the Faculty Board. She has been a lecturer in the ICT field for that last 15 years in networking and programming fields as well as security. Le-anne is involved in State Quality Assurance groups and heavily involved in the implementation of new training packages. Le-anne is also the Main Contact as a Regional Academy for the Cisco Networking education program and supports many Local Academys. Le-anne is a member of the Cisco SA Council and represents the Academy at the annual Asia Pacific Cisco Conferences.Le-anne is constantly updating her ICT skills and believes in lifelong learning. Recently she completed the CPE Program and found the online mode of leaning worked well for her and she enjoyed the interaction with students throughout the world. Le-anne found that the CPE Program has been very beneficial to her as she learnt about other people’s roles and experiences in different work environments. Tom is the tutor in Green Technology Strategies and a member of the Faculty Board. He has 25 years' experience in ICT and 10 in tertiary education. Joining the public service as a programmer's assistant, he worked his way up through the ranks, programming and database design for large administrative and financial systems. Later Tom worked on ICT policy at the Department of Defence. He helped formulate national policy on the use of the Internet, before leaving government to become an independent consultant.Currently, Tom is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Research School of Computer Science, Australian National University, where he teaches IT ethics, web design, e-commerce and green IT.Tom is the author of two books and frequent blogger. He is a former President of the ACS, a Fellow, Honorary Life Member and Certified Professional. Tom is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and voting member the Association for Computing Machinery.He was presented with the ACT ICT Educator of the Year 2010 Award for his work on sustainable computing education. Tom is also a Visiting Scientist at the CSIRO ICT Centre.

Bhuvan has more than two decades of strategic as well as hands-on professional experience in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry. As a Founder of MethodScience.com, Bhuvan has demonstrated consulting and training expertise in business analysis (use cases, BPMN) software engineering (object modelling, Agile processes and quality), collaborative web services, Green IT (environment) and mobile business. His domain experience includes banking, financial, insurance, government as well as telecommunication organisations. Bhuvan earned his Doctorate in the area of 'object orientation' from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1997. Since graduating with a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering in the early 90's, Jason started as a programmer in 3rd and 4th generation languages before moving towards Infrastructure support and managing service desks. Gradually moving towards management positions, Jason has completed Advanced Diploma studies in Business Management and completed the CPE Program in 2011. His current role is with Accenture working on large government infrastructure projects, requiring the use of both technical and project management skills.

Lucas is currently working at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), as the Director of IT Project Management Capability and Governance. He is guiding the ATO IT Project Management maturity models in order to support the ATO’s vision to transform into a flexible, agile enterprise that can adapt to change and support their clients. His team is also supporting an enterprise wide Project Management Capability refresh project that will enable the ATO to have timely and accurate Portfolio Management information that enables the mash up of multiple systems data that presents information in intuitive formats. Lucas is a Mentor for the ACS CPE Program Professional Practice Unit. He recently completed the ACS CPeP program and presented a case study at the 2011 Gartner Symposium ITxpo titled ‘Design by Committee: A cross-jurisdictional experience.’ The case study was based on his experience as the Interim CIO of the National Occupational Licensing Authority. He has a Masters in Bio Statistics and is preparing to commence a Masters in Technology.
