DEFSIG - Defence Special Interest Group
What's new: DEFSIG starts February 1997
DEFSIG is a special interest group of the Canberra Branch of the
Australian Computer Society. DEFSIG is for ACS members and
non-members interested in military IT, security and real time systems.
Meetings
DEFSIG will be commencing (February 1997) a series of free lunch time seminars (the defence forum ) in
Canberra on a topic of interest to those in defence IT. Seminars are announced on this web page and
on the ACS newsgroup or join the mailing list.
Meetings are held in the boardroom of Netinfo, 72 Wattle St, Lyneham, ACT
(phone: (06) 257 6500).

Membership
There is no formal membership for DEFSIG, no membership fees and it is open to anyone with an
interest in this field. Corporate sponsorship is available at $600 pa, which provides acknowledgement
of the sponsor on the DEFSIG home page.
