About ACS-W

ACS-W is a community formed to bring together women who have an interest in the ICT industry. This includes women who wish study IT, women who are in the industry, women who are involved in IT as part of their work and women re-entering the industry.

ACS-W is not only an information portal for it's members but also a support group that encourages women to reach their IT goals. ACS-W encourages women to choose ICT as the attractive career option through role models and promotions in Universities, schools & to women returning to the workforce or looking to change their career. ACS-W understands the needs of women returning to the workforce and actively lobbies for wider acceptance by employers to provide for their needs.

ACS-S aims to attract and retain female professional members by providing opportunities for personal and professional development, networking and recognition of their contribution to the ICT community.
