Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) Melbourne

The second RHoK Melbourne for 2012 was led last weekend at Swinburne University, Hawthorn.

Random Hacks of Kindness is a global initiative, held in June and December each year. RHoK runs over a weekend, with problem owners pre-submitting community issues to be solved.

Last Saturday the day began with each problem owner presenting, then the hackers formed into groups to solve the problems. ACS Victoria supported December RHoK, with Board Member Jo Dalvean joining the organising committee, and setting up and managing Social Media.

The Age newspaper reported on the outcomes. Click here to read the article.

Stay tuned for the next RHOK in June 2013. To keep informed, have a look at the RHoK Melbourne Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/RHokMelbourne.
