La Trobe University Recognises the Continued Support of ACS
Recently as part of my duties as Victorian Board member of ACS, I had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by La Trobe University at the beautiful Treetops venue in Melbourne Museum.
Vice Chancellor Professor John Dewar wrote 'to those who have supported La Trobe University over the years, we would like to say thank you. From student scholarships to supporting our research efforts, we offer thanks to the generous individuals and organisations that have shared our desire to make a difference'.
ACS has previously offered support to La Trobe University through the provision of prizes to outstanding students. In conversation over a glass of red, Professor Dewar expressed his vision for La Trobe University growth and his desire for continued support from ACS into the future, which I was happy to confirm.
