2013 Membership Fee Notice

Over the past few years we have worked hard to significantly increase the value of your ACS membership. Our promise is to create the environment and provide the opportunities for our members and partners to be recognised and succeed. To achieve this we have implemented a range of new initiatives, including:

  • MySFIA – a tool to determine your current skills profile, identify possible career roles, and recognise development areas to focus on to help achieve your goal
  • New short courses – Business & Consulting Skills for IT Professionals, Business Analysis in Practice, and Organisational Change Management Techniques for ICT Professionals
  • A Mobile App – your portable continuing professional development (CPD) manager
  • Access to PC & Tech Authority magazine in a digital subscription
  • Launched a new website
  • Increased the number of events to over 600 around Australia
  • Released research findings including the ACS Remuneration Survey, Statistical Compendium and Employment Survey.

The ACS has avoided raising prices for as long as possible and has not introduced a fee rise for over 6 years. However, due to increased costs the ACS will introduce a very modest fee rise of between 3%-4% from 1 January 2013.

Our new fee schedule is:

Full Fee: $330.00
Full Fee - Overseas: $240.00
Graduate 1st Year: $60.00
Graduate 2nd Year: $165.00
Retired: $60.00
Student: $60.00
Unemployed: $60.00

Monthly and quarterly payments will not increase until your annual renewal date. So if your membership expires on 31 March 2012, your membership fee will increase on the first payment after this date.

There will be more exciting developments at the ACS throughout 2013. We will further strengthen our professional development offerings, work closer with government and industry, and continue to articulate the benefits of skills development and professional certification throughout the ICT industry.
