Young IT
Mission and Objectives
Young IT (YIT) aims to provide a voice for ACS young IT professionals and students, as well as a range of services and benefits for members. This is achieved by running an annual YIT career conference and other events such as local career days, soft skills and technical seminars, networking opportunities and social events (e.g. IT in the Pub) in each of the states.
Expected Outcomes
The expected outcomes of YIT SIG are:
- Regular group meetings
- Workshops, seminars and forums
- An informal network of contacts amongst members
- Links with other organisations involved in the same or related fields of endeavours
- Career Assistance
Distribution List
Subscribers to the distribution list will receive reminders of the event via email a few days before the event and on the day. This will include details of the content and speaker for the night. Please follow the registration process if you intent to attend the event and deregister if you can’t make it.
