ACS FOUNDATION LUNCH WITH ANDREW STEVENS, MANAGING DIRECTOR, IBM AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND
'The Role of the IT Industry as Australian Business Confronts Its Digital Decision Point'

Australian businesses & government agencies find themselves at a digital decision point. As the Internet, mobile communications, social media, big data and other computing-powered innovations become powerful and ubiquitous, organisations need to undergo significant business transformations to remain relevant and competitive.

Andrew Stevens will explore the trends reshaping Australia and map out pathways organisations can follow as they reinvent their operations and customer propositions for the digital era. He’ll combine this analysis with case study examples of organisations at different stages of their transformation journeys.

With a focus on the ACS Foundation’s mission to support education and research, Andrew will also explore the capabilities needed to drive these changes within large organisations and across the future data-driven Australian and global economies.
