Special Collections

Collections focussing on a topical area of interest are welcomed. Guest editors are asked to follow the following guidelines.

Special Journal Issues

1. The refereeing guidelines are set by the JRPIT which are appropriately rigorous (at least 2 referees with an independent Guest Editor to make (and be responsible for) the final decision). Guest Editors are responsible for finding the reviewers, at least some of which should be international.

2. The Guest Editor(s) must be a recognised authority in the field, as seen by appropriate journal and other publications. Normally the Guest Editor is not to be a contributor for the Special Collection.

3.A Special Collection may be all or part of an issue of JRPIT. Normally the total number of printed pages should not exceed 75 pages.
