Aims & Scope

Readership

The primary readership of the journal is considered to be equally:

  • Information technology professionals, working in commerce, government and industry;
  • University and government organisation researchers.

The journal also aims to be of interest to:

  • Management professionals of information technology staff and industry;
  • Professionals in allied disciplines (such as in engineering or mathematics);
  • All professional or practicing members of the ACS;
  • Academics involved in industry and practice based research;
  • Other suitably informed members of the community.

The journal is provided free to members of the Australian Computer Society.

Scope

The scope of the journal includes all aspects of Information Technology deemed to be of interest to part of the readership, including, but not limited to:

  • Computer Science;
  • Information Systems;
  • Computer Systems and Information Engineering;
  • Software Engineering.

In particular, an emphasis on articles relevant to computing practitioners is encouraged.
