Becoming a Certified Professional (CP)
CP replaces PCP. By design, as an exisiting PCP you are awarded CP status. To maintain this status, log 30 hours of professional development every year. Failure to do so will result in the loss of CP status and the loss of use of the CP post-nominal.
Log Professional Development hours
Remember the 30 hours of professional development doesn't have to come solely from ACS events to be recognised. Professional development is professional development, whatever the source.
Applying for CP status As a professionally graded member from after 01/06/06 you may qualify for CP status by sending the ACS your CV, along with your current job description and contact details for one referee.
