Taking your career to the next level
Computer Professional Education Program
The ACS Computer Professional Education Program (CPE Program) is a postgraduate level ICT program. With a strong focus on ICT and business alignment, students graduate with the skills to more effectively help their organisation use technology to improve business performance.
For candidates wishing to elevate their career to SFIA level 5 ensure/advise, the CPE Program is a wholly online distance education program comprising three core subjects and one elective delivered over 16 months. The program is supplemented by a Professional Practice component where candidates are assigned an ICT specialist that performs a mentoring role. Generally, candidates enter the program having completed an ACS accredited degree in ICT (or equivalent) with 18 months relevant work experience. Candidates must be in ICT-related employment at the time of enrolment. In addition to the scholarly benefits of the program, candidates will be fast-tracked to the certification achievement of ACS Certified Professional (CP). Successful completion of the CPE Program also provides advanced standing into many leading MBA/MIT programs.
