CSIRO is Australia's national science agency with around 6000 staff in some 55 locations. Our information and communication technologies (ICT) researchers are among the top one per cent most cited computer scientists in the world. CSIRO's ICT Centre focuses on applying the research outcomes of work in: autonomous systems (field robotics and wireless sensor networks); enabling wireless and networking technologies for future mobile and wireless communications networks; and information engineering. The CSRIO is the largest services research group in Australia, developing tools to handle information and deliver services.
