1. Gather documents / webpages / manuals that you use and describe your business.

3. See which words you use most often

4. Copy this list into https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

5. Look at the synonyms and phrases created. Which ones suit you?

6. Initially look at phrases that generate 500 to 5000 global searches per month.

7. Run each phrase into Google search.

8. Look at the search results. Do the keyword phrase appear in the title, description & URL?

9. Where would your new optimized page appear in the listing.

10. Pick keyword phrases that will get you into the top 10.

Website Goals

1. Make sure your new pages are on your sitemap.xml file and your sitemap is known to search engines.

2. Have many optimized web pages generating Internet Search traffic.

3. Have related pages on your website contain hyperlinks between them.

4. Build up external linking to improve web page rankings.

5. Review you keyword website traffic to suggest further keyword phrase web pages to write.

6. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools can be used to track your keywords.
