Project Manager – Applications within Logistics, Distribution & Manufacturing - Melbourne, Victoria based with travel
Based in Melbourne, AcQuum Consulting provides specialist business-based IT solutions across finance, logistics, distribution and manufacturing industries. We are now looking to make a key appointment to the highly successful Professional Services Consulting team to support our activities within the logistics and manufacturing sectors.
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with deep exposure to the logistic / distribution and manufacturing sectors to join our team in Melbourne on a 12 month fixed contract. This role is a full 360 degree Project Management role coupled with some business analysis functions. It will suite a candidate that is truly comfortable interfacing with SME client teams across the whole company spectrum from CEOs to warehouse / factory floor staff.
Key Hiring Criteria
• Agile experience is welcome but this is not essential and exposure to older or larger methodologies such as PRINCE would be favourably considered. Hands-on project management experience across multiple projects is the key.
• Extensive experience of Enterprise ( ERP ) wide software such as SAP , ORACLE, Infor Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics AX ( Axapta ) - Microsoft Dynamics GP ( Great Plains ) is crucial.
• Project management / business analysis experience within Manufacturing , Logistics , Supply-Chain , is essential
• Track record in leading and delivering successful software implementations with genuine delivery focus and proven success in delivering IT solutions on time and within budget.
• A minimum of 7 years IT environment experience with at least the last 3 gained in PM type role.
• Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written). This will be a highly visible role both within our organization and when in our clients' environment. The position will demand well-developed interpersonal skills to support your interface with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to run work workshops and provide strong documentation skills.
