The Role
The position holder is responsible for providing timely, high quality technical business analysis and solution delivery across the organisation. This includes business case development, solution design and delivery, standards development and monitoring, process improvement, definition of functional specifications, requirements management, vendor management and the objective consideration of technical solutions
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Demonstrated experience in analysing customer and business system needs, and developing concise business requirements and technical requirements. Experience in liaising with business and technical stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in developing process flow diagrams (UML), wireframes, user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, test cases and user documentation. Demonstrated experience in developing training materials.
- Understanding of integration issues and impacts of software development across multiple functions of the organisation.
- Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies (e.g. PMBok, Prince 2, Agile, SOA). Flexibility to adapt to changes in processes and environments.
- High-level analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to research and to apply problem solving skills to complex technical problems.
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and customer relationship management skills.
