Six Session PD Workshop:
Tea House Toastmasters Speechcraft
Speakers Training

Speechcraft programs are short courses in public speaking that are offered by Toastmasters for people who want to work on their speaking skills in a workshop environment. During the course, participants prepare a number of speeches in quick succession.

The course comprises of six sessions, on the dates stated below.  Each session will commence at 18:00 and finish at 20:30.
 
Speechcraft is a program designed for beginners in public speaking. The hands-on program provides the "how-to" and the practical experience so critical to progress. The Speechcraft program is provided by members of the ACS Tea House Toastmasters club, who have extensive experience in training beginning communicators. An atmosphere of professional camaraderie makes each course a unique learning environment dedicated to personal improvement.
 
The club will prepare material which the participants keep, including the Toastmasters Speechcraft Handbook.

What is Speechcraft?

A structured course to help your: speaking skills, confidence building, thinking on your feet, running meetings, structuring and presenting your ideas.

Who should attend?
  • People wanting to improve their communication and leadership skills
  • People wanting to increase their effectiveness in their professional and personal life
  • People that recognise the importance of effective communication in advancing their career

Light refreshments will be provided.
