Established as the Computing Society of South Australia in 1960 and merging with other computer societies in 1966, the ACS South Australian Branch proudly claims to be the first branch of the ACS.
More than 50 years later the SA Branch has grown to represent a broad cross section of ICT professionals. Our members and other ICT professionals are encouraged to participate in the wide variety of professional development and networking opportunities provided by the branch. From Project Management, PC Recycling, Software Quality Testing, Young IT to Curry the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide a invaluable opportunity for members to network and learn from their peers. Monthly Branch Forums, Education Across the Nation (EdXN) and Roundtable events are also held regularly in South Australia.
The ACS SA Branch Executive Committee (BEC) and staff are committed to advancing ICT professionals in their chosen career paths. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out more about the ACS in South Australia.
