Unfortunately the diversity in thought and actions often becomes the very trigger of Conflict between team members; affecting employees, clients and ultimately the bottom-line of the business. What starts as a simple disagreement if unresolved may escalate to avoidance, inability to work together, verbal assaults and resentment. By end of workshop, you will:

  • Understand how you relate to conflict
  • Recognise the stages of conflict
  • Understand your approach to conflict resolution
  • Learn to move forward when win-win seems impossible
  • Understand the role that pay-offs play in conflict situations
  • Understand the interplay of games in relation to conflict
  • Learn how to map conflict – simple and complex
  • Learn to read complex conflict
  • Create options and know to act on them
  • Apply a creative response to a conflict
  • Value differences
  • Understand behavioural styles during a conflict
  • Active Listening
  • Assertiveness vs. Aggression
  • Managing Emotions
  • Handling difficult emotions
  • Facilitating another’s exploration of a conflict situation
