This page will be developed over time. It is intended to contain information and tools that assist in using specific standards. It is envisaged that the information would be about what standards exist and how they relate to one another a review of a standard similar to a book review or software product review, and tools that aid or support the standard. Does a standard exist, how applicable is it to the situation, how easy of difficult is it to implement, how widely recognised is it. Most standards needs some tools like a spreadsheet, checklist template document or similar. But each organisation re-invents the wheel because the tools aren't particularly marketable and there isn't and exchange for them. Until now. Over time we hope to build up a repository of tools and information that ACS members find useful. If you want to submit a review or tool, please feel free to do so. Please indulge us a little. The ACS can't afford to get caught up in disputes over intellectual property so we do ask that you assure the ACS that you are entitled to submit whatever it is. Your submission will be reviewed by the National Standards Committee just as a conference paper would be reviewed. It will then be added o this website for others to benefit from it. |
